CloudSmiths is looking for a Sales Executive for our Internal AI Product Division, reporting to the Head of Products, we are looking for a "Hunter", someone who loves the thrill of the chase, understands the nuances of B2B software sales, and knows how to use data to drive strategy.

What You Will Do

You will be the engine room of this new division. Working directly with our Chief Technology Officer and maintaining a dotted line to the Head of Products, your mission is to validate our AI solutions in the South African mid-market.

  • Execute rigorous outbound strategies (cold calling, email, social) to generate new leads. You will focus on detailed prospect research to identify key decision-makers.
  • Design and run targeted sales campaigns to penetrate the mid-market, turning cold data into warm conversations
  • This isn't just about making calls; it's about building a system. You will manage the CRM (Salesforce) to ensure pipeline visibility, data integrity, and accurate forecasting.
  • You will use your understanding of the product to uncover cross-selling opportunities and deliver value-driven conversations.
  • Act as the feedback loop between the market and the product team, using your commercial insights to help shape future AI features.

Who You Are

You are an intermediate sales professional who is ready to step up. You have a background in Software/SaaS or AI Start-ups, and you understand that modern sales require a mix of interpersonal skills and technical literacy.

  • You are comfortable with high activity levels, cold outreach, and the resilience required to build a pipeline from scratch.
  • You don't just use a CRM; you know how to optimize it. Familiarity with tools like Salesforce and  LinkedIn Sales Navigator is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Sciences, or Finance is preferred.
  • A combination of commercial acumen and technical understanding is ideal.
  • You are growth-focused, driven, and possess strong problem-solving skills. You value structure and continuous improvement in your sales process.
