What you’ll do as an intermediate operations engineer:
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Perform configuration and management tasks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible. Work towards infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and reliability
Assist in managing cloud resources, monitoring performance, and optimizing costs
Set up and configure monitoring and alerting tools to track system performance, identify issues, and ensure uptime and reliability
Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to support their needs and requirements
Subject matter expert of applications owned by Price and promo team with detailed knowledge in all the associated application/environmental dependencies
Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues and help support applications in all environments
What we are looking for:
5+ years of professional work experience in IT support or server administration
5+ years of experience with Windows Server or Linux platforms
3+ years of experience working with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automation, and real-time monitoring
3+ years of experience supporting and/or developing Java/C# applications
Experience with the latest DevOps technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, APM, and Cloud
2+ years of hands-on experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash)
Availability to work in a 24/7 operation environment
