What You Will Do:
Lead risk analyses of Enbridge slope and river crossings using existing tools.
Conduct reliability assessments for mainline integrity threats using existing tools.
Communicate with department stakeholders when implementing risk results within mitigation plans.
Collaborate with cross-company partners during operating and capital budget project submissions.
Support continual improvement of risk analysis tools, models, and processes.
Respond to ad-hoc requests in support of pipeline integrity objectives.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Civil, Mechanical, Materials or other relevant Engineering degrees.
Four or more years of applicable experience.
Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta.
Understanding of scripting languages (e.g. Python, VBA, MATLAB, C#).
Engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:
Pipeline geohazard assessment
Pipeline integrity management
Risk management
Knowledge of large databases (e.g. PowerPivot or Power Query, Power BI).
Working Conditions:
Office environment.
Limited travel (<5%) to field locations. Ability to travel and work on projects throughout Canada and United States. Valid passport is required.
Required to manage project timelines.
