Position Purpose:

Through data analytics and the consensus forecasting process, the Demand Planner will partner with and challenge Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to create the best possible forecasts. This role will also influence, establish, and mature consensus forecasting, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and other collaboration processes in business segments that may +not use a formalized forecasting / planning process.

The Demand Planner will manage and align demand planning processes to meet demand planning metrics, business objectives, supply chain initiatives, and company goals. This role will research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to maintain impeccable data and demand management system integrity.

Land O' Lakes uses standard Demand Planning metrics to drive planning decisions and monitor adherence to key performance indicators. You will work to identify and implement process and system improvements and use appropriate communication methods to respond to business issues.
Experience-Education (Required):
-
BA/BS in quantitative area including supply chain, marketing, mathematics or operations research or other business-related area.

2+ years’ experience in demand planning, production planning, mathematics, statistical forecast modeling, operations research, or marketing

Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management best practices, demand driven value-network, and how a demand signal is used throughout the supply chain

4+ years of forecasting experience in supply chain planning

Business intelligence and data visualization technologies (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)

Salary: $79,000 - $118,000 based on experience
