The Opportunity:

CACI has an opening for an Intermediate Automated Information Systems  (AIS) Analyst at COMNAVAIRLANT in Norfolk, VA. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Knowledge Manager to play a pivotal role in enhancing organizational efficiency and collaboration within the command. You will lead the establishment and oversight of systems and processes designed to capture, organize, and disseminate critical program information. Your efforts will directly contribute to improved knowledge sharing and operational excellence across fleet activities. You will also have the chance to introduce innovative technologies to automate and streamline knowledge management processes. Responsibilities:

  • The Knowledge Manager will establish and oversee the systems and processes necessary to capture, organize, and disseminate critical program information.

  • Promotes and markets KM services to expand services and knowledge sharing throughout the command and fleet activities.

  • Provides advice and assistance in planning and coordinating resource, organizational, and leadership requirements to successfully implement Knowledge Management strategies and practices (KM).

  • Provides advice, assistance and direction to cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and scope

  • Provides guidance and support to KM personnel throughout the Area of Responsibility (AOR).

  • Performs process analysis, improvement, reengineering, and training utilizing various KM processes and tools

  • Conducts KM assessments for planning and managing projects that promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Develops KM [processes] to assess and improve knowledge and information flows throughout the command.

  • Develops and promulgate business rules to create repeatable command knowledge [sharing] processes.

  • Introduces technology where possible to automate command knowledge sharing processes for increased efficiencies.

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics or related quantitative science field and minimum of four  years of experience in Navy logistics AISs.

  • As a substitute for education, four years of experience in combination of management information systems software programming, design and/or analysis.  Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category. 

  • Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification or achieve within six months of hire

Desired:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word, and Access.

  • Extensive experience with Power BI, SharePoint and other collaboration tools.

  • Ability to work independently and within Groups.

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.​
 

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$26.03
