Introduction
iRobot's Iberia business continues to be a strategically important and high-growth region within EMEA. We are seeking an Interim Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of local marketing initiatives that drive consumer demand, increase conversion, and support premium product adoption across both retail and online channels. This is a 3 month contract leave coverage and ideal candidate must be able to start as soon as possible.Reporting into the Trade Marketing Manager, Iberia, this role will help adapt global marketing strategies to local market requirements, ensuring campaigns, activations, and assets are relevant, effective, and aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing regional marketing plans, managing marketing activities and budgets, and continuously optimizing brand presence and performance across Spain and Portugal.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Iberian retail landscape, consumer marketing, and trade marketing principles, with experience across both online and offline channels. They should be highly organized, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
Trade & Retail Marketing
- Partner closely with the Sales team to plan and execute retail and trade marketing initiatives across both physical stores and online retail partners.
- Co-ordinate key in-store visibility projects including as display roll-out and merchandising initiatives.
- Support the management of the in-store promoter program, including rota planning, training co-ordination and performance monitoring.
- Help identify and activate growth opportunities with key retail and e-commerce partners.
Content Localisation & Asset Management
- Ensure global marketing assets are effectively localized and adapted for the Iberian market, maintaining relevance, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate the creation of new assets specific to market and retailer.
- Manage marketing asset approvals and ensure timely delivery to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Market & Performance Analysis
- Support regular reporting on key KPIs, marketing activities, and budget performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with EMEA Marketing, Sales, Global Marketing and external agency partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Act as a key local point of contact for Iberian marketing activities, ensuring strong communication and alignment across stakeholder groups.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Previous experience in marketing, trade marketing, shopper marketing, or brand activation, ideally within consumer electronics, FMCG, or retail environments.
- Good understanding of the Iberian retail and e-commerce landscape.
- Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent Spanish and English required; Portuguese is a strong advantage.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
