Role: Interim Digital Marketing Executive – Maternity Leave Cover (7 month FTC)
Location: London, Hybrid
About the role:
Working in partnership with our client (an internationally known B2B organisation), the Digital Marketing Executive will play a key role in developing, executing and monitoring CRM and web activities.
We operate a dedicated Digital Centre of Excellence within our clients’ pharmaceutical division. The Digital Centre of Excellence exists to drive, embed and exploit digital best practice.
Reporting to the client’s Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Executive’s focus will be to reach, engage and grow audiences by executing multi-channel campaigns that drive and convert quality leads. This role is crucial to deliver on our client’s ambition to offer a best-in-class digital customer experience.
You will be part of a much larger team within the Digital Centre of Excellence where you will contribute towards specific KPI targets. You will also be working in collaboration with the wider client marketing team, and you will be expected to work closely with our client’s other external agencies and partners.
What you will be doing:
- Solid understanding of digital marketing and the roles of different digital channels.
- Support the Marketing Manager with planning and executing targeted digital campaigns.
- Measure marketing performance and use data to drive decision making.
- Contribute to achieving digital marketing KPI targets and ongoing performance measurement.
- Manage key digital marketing channels such as websites ensuring content is up to date and the customer experience follows best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the wider team and drive cross-function partnership.
- Partner with the Creative Team to align creative assets with the performance marketing plan.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques and the ability to produce reports on marketing performance.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex information clearly.
- Maintain clear timelines and expectations with internal and external partners.
- Curiosity to identify insights and implement best practices in marketing.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Experience in building and sustaining meaningful client partnerships.
- Results-driven with a focus on delivering business plans aligned with growth targets.
- Confidence in collaborating with and influencing third-party agencies.
- Excellent presentation skills, both written and spoken.
- Agency background and experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in B2B and multiple industry sectors.
- Familiarity with Martech solutions is beneficial.
- 2+ years of relevant digital marketing experience.
