Location: Barcelona or Singapore

About the Role:

Dow Jones Risk & Compliance is a global provider of third-party risk management and regulatory compliance solutions. We deliver data, research tools and services to help our clients meet anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, anti-corruption and economic sanctions regulations and mitigate third-party risk.

We are looking for an interim Manager to lead our global Risk & Compliance (R&C) Quality team. The team is embedded with the various Risk & Compliance research teams to create, maintain and oversee quality standards. The team is also responsible for providing feedback and guidance to ensure process adherence, focusing on post-production quality management.

As Interim Manager of the team you will inspire innovation, introduce quality best practices, manage workload distribution and develop relationships across all leadership levels.

You Will

• Lead a global team of Quality Analysts, inspire and develop your team to maximize their potential
• Recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a suitable candidate if recruitment is required
• Provide clear and timely feedback to team members on their performance
• Maintain the big picture perspective as you deal with daily work priorities to help reinforce the tasks that are important and subsequently refocus attention on the broader team/organization goals
• Ensure your team understands customer needs and requirements to maintain effective quality processes
• Work with peers in the Quality department to ensure best-practices are shared, applied and adopted globally
• Review existing processes to identify opportunities for automation and leveraging of AI tools for increased efficiency
• Establish and maintain relationships with R&C research teams to provide direction and guidance on quality standards while successfully identifying, communicating, and correcting deviations
• Host stakeholder meetings to report on quality measurements
• Coordinate project assignments, provide visibility into project status and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery
• Oversee definition, measurement and reporting of relevant Quality Control Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Handle multiple high priority initiatives and work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure task completion

You Have

• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of R&C research team operations and processes
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving
• Proficiency in Excel or Google sheets
• Proven experience leading automation projects and/or working with SQL databases, including data querying and extraction
• Capability to support and convey change
• An openness to different views and opinions and appreciation of team diversity

Preferred

• Working knowledge of Python, Google Apps Script or other scripting languages
• Experience in leveraging AI tools for workflow automation
