About the role

We are looking for an Interim HR Manager to take ownership of the HR function during a maternity leave period from end of November 2026 through mid-May 2027.

This is a hands-on managerial role within an international commercial environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to management and oversee a broad range of HR, payroll, employee relations, compliance, and Talent Acquisition activities across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to management on HR and employee-related matters.
  • Oversee multi-country payroll, with responsibility for accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Manage and advise on employment law topics, employee relations, absence/leave, pensions, and immigration matters.
  • Ensure HR processes and practices are compliant, accurate, and appropriately documented.
  • Manage and support the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, including setting priorities, providing guidance, and monitoring the effectiveness of the TA function.

About you

  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or comparable managerial role (+/- 10 years), ideally within an international commercial environment such as sales, trading, or financial services.
  • Experience with multi-country payroll; knowledge of Nmbrs is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working across multiple European countries, ideally including NL, FR, DE and IT. We also have employees in Spain, Israel & Romania.
  • Familiarity with Dutch immigration/visa processes, absence processes, and pension legislation.
  • Experience managing or overseeing Talent Acquisition and evaluating the effectiveness of a recruitment function.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Available 20–24 hours per week (on-site)
