Key Responsibilities:
· P&L Ownership: Manage e-commerce financials, including forecasting, and reporting on key sales and profitability metrics
· Team Leadership: Lead the e-commerce team, ensuring they have the resources and direction needed to execute effectively
· Digital Performance & Growth: Drive traffic, conversion, and sales through SEO, paid media, email marketing, CRM, and other digital marketing channels;
· Customer Experience & Innovation: Continuously optimize website usability, personalization, and omnichannel integration to enhance customer satisfaction and conversion. Continue to develop the membership program to drive growth;
· Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and performance data to refine strategies, improve KPIs, and ensure agile responses to market trends;
· Omnichannel Synergy: Enhance the role of digital as both a sales channel and a traffic driver for offline stores, ensuring a cohesive customer experience across platforms.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven retail environment. The ideal candidate is data-savvy, entrepreneurial, and experienced in e-commerce operations within an omnichannel retail setting.
Key Qualifications:
· 10+ years of e-com experience, with a proven track record in driving online revenue growth
· Strong omnichannel retail experience; ability to integrate digital with physical store operations
· Expertise in e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and performance analytics
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
· Hands-on approach; able to balance execution and delegation effectively
· Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus) and thrives in international environments
The position will be for a initial period of 4 months and be based in Hilversum. The start date is ASAP. We need a leader who can act fast, drive impact, and elevate our e-commerce performance. If you have the experience and ambition to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
As Interim Head of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for driving online revenue growth, optimizing digital customer experience, and ensuring seamless integration of e-commerce into our broader omnichannel strategy. You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, buying & merchandising, and IT to align e-commerce with overall business objectives. You own the e-commerce P&L and are accountable for performance, execution, and innovation. You report directly to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO).
