  • Write Research Highlights and other editorial content that communicates significant scientific advances clearly and accurately to a broad research audience.

  • Liaise extensively with researchers through institutional visits, international conferences, and ongoing community engagement to strengthen the journal's network and reputation.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • A PhD in computer science. All suitable candidates will be considered, but preference will be given to those with previous editorial experience and/or a background in areas of theoretical computer science, logic, formal methods, networks and communications systems, hardware and architecture, or distributed computing.

  • Broad scientific knowledge

  • The ability to absorb new areas of research, and identify new developments and research trends in fields beyond their immediate specialty

  • Willingness to travel to meet researchers and learn more about them and their work; and to advertise the journal

  • Demonstrable ability to edit text for sense, clarity, factual correctness and language (which will be assessed during the interview process)

  • Demonstrable writing ability

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Keen attention to detail

The position is offered on a full-time, fixed-term contract basis, and will be based on a hybrid model in our Heidelberg or Pune offices.
