Description:

The Intelligence Solutions Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration and management of the Firm's experience management and firm intelligence platforms and related systems. This role contributes to the implementation and on-going support of knowledge management systems and processes. The Analyst supports efforts to capture and maintain experience information and firm intelligence including client and matter profiles in support of the Firm's knowledge management and innovation efforts.

The Analyst works directly with business services and practice teams to define best practices for leveraging firm intelligence systems and processes. This role contributes to training programs and provides follow-up support as needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Day-to-day support of the Firm's experience management system, which includes expertise, experience, and proposal modules
  • Support complex data processes and systems, including Litera Foundation.
  • Support efforts to capture and maintain relevant and accurate experience information, including client and matter profiles
  • Work with lawyers and other key stakeholders to gather and translate their needs into actionable solutions that leverage technology and strengthen the firm's data strategy. Participate on project teams to develop and implement enhancements to the experience management platform and related systems
  • Support the design and management of automated workflows and dashboards to capture matter information, such as form assignment and approval, and maintain process documentation for the same
  • Develop and maintain the firm's matter knowledge, predominantly through systems, workflows, behavior, training, and culture
  • Support IT staff, vendors, and other third parties to address system-level technical issues, manage internal and external integrations, and implement upgrades and enhancements
  • Identify and respond to internal and external client inquiries promptly and seek feedback as appropriate
  • Support power users as they research, analyze, and prepare reports on client, matter, related party, relationship, and timekeeper experience and expertise to support the firm's business development and strategic initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve and/or add to the experience platform and related processes and integration sources
  • Support the management of the quality and quantity of data maintained within the experience management platform. Develop standard configuration documentation and related job-aides or guides for the experience management platform and related systems
  • Support complex end-user training, onboarding, and user adoption programs and communications
  • Support rollouts of the firm's intelligence systems and create and maintain user support materials.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or professional services environment
  • Experience working with legal technology such as experience or expertise systems, legal research tools, workflow systems, legal project and practice management tools.
  • Experience with data management, process, and data system design, preferably in a legal or professional services firm
  • Demonstrated understanding of law firm structure and business practices, as well as practice-specific terminology. Experience working with a broad array of legal practices including transactional, litigation, and regulatory.
  • Ability to develop effective and collaborative relationships with the BD and Marketing teams, lawyers, firm administrative departments, and vendors.
  • Champion for change management, process improvement, user adoption, and the constant evolution of complex data strategies and needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in multiple complex assignments with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional proficiency working with MS Office especially for analyzing and communicating data-related concepts

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, Masters strongly preferred.

This position may be filled in New York. In accordance with the New York State Pay Transparency Law and the New York City Human Rights Law, the pay range for this position in New York State is $63,000 - $113,300/yr and in New York City is $75,500 - $113,300/yr. These ranges are specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
