Supports power-market intelligence research by cleaning and analyzing large datasets, maintaining proprietary asset and financial databases, updating forecasting models, identifying market trends, and publishing investment research. The intern will use SEC filings, investor documents, government datasets, and industry sources, while participating in client calls and demonstrating Enverus solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Intern on our Enverus Intelligence Research team (EIR) with a focus on Power Markets. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, financial analysts, and geologists to ensure data integrity, analyze trends and publish actionable investment research for investment banks, private equity, hedge funds, institutional investors as well as energy companies. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills and excels in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
This full-time role is based out of our Calgary office. We look forward to welcoming the successful candidate for a 12-month term beginning in January 2027.

Performance Objectives
- Aggregate, clean and analyze large data sets to identify trends, characterize opportunities, value assets and analyze market activity using internal workflows built in Enverus Prism™.
- Update, maintain and improve proprietary databases critical for formulating opinions on assets including well production data, renewable projects and financial data.
- Participate in conference calls with clients and prospects, leveraging or demonstrating Enverus Intelligence™ and Enverus Core™ solutions to help answer some of the most challenging questions facing the energy industry and energy investors today.
- Maintain forecasting models using SEC filings, investor documents, transcripts, press releases, and government and industry datasets.
Competitive Candidate Profile
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a specific focus on Excel
- Proficiency with Python and Data Manipulation
- Familiarity with using programming concepts to manage and analyze large, complex datasets.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- A demonstrated passion for the energy sector
Skills Required
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
