Summary:

In this role, you will join a high-performing Service Line Intelligence and Research team, contributing to the development of Cardiovascular Service Line Intelligence products, publications, and solutions for Sg2’s clients. You will be engaged across multiple service lines and areas of the business, including the development and delivery of industry-leading thought leadership and Sg2 analytic tools, with opportunities to collaborate closely with colleagues across Sg2 and other parts of Vizient such as spend management and analytics. You will leverage a strong understanding of healthcare trends, emerging clinical developments, and market forces shaping the future of care delivery, translating these insights into clear strategic narratives, recommendations and resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert with knowledge of healthcare trends and the changing landscape of Cardiovascular services to help clients make sound strategic decisions and craft strategic plans.
  • Lead the development of thought leadership deliverables including expert posts, briefings, publications, webinars, podcasts, client presentations, and more.
  • Partner with Sg2’s Service team and clients to address client pain points related to Cardiovascular strategy via expert onsite and virtual presentations, calls and service requests, meeting facilitation, and analytic insights.
  • Translate service line knowledge and healthcare trends to inform the annual update to Sg2’s analytics tools, including the Impact of Change demand forecasting model.
  • Participate in consulting engagements as a subject matter expert as needed
  • Present at or participate in Sg2/Vizient client events, network meetings, consulting projects, spend management and cross-business unit meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree in clinical services, biological/biomedical sciences, economics, or health or business administration strongly preferred.
  • 7 or more years of experience in a hospital/health system, consulting firm, or health care-related company with a focus on cardiovascular services or related clinical area required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to synthesize research and interviews into cohesive strategic narratives, recommendations, frameworks, and project proposals required.
  • Skilled at performing detailed analysis of historical trends from Sg2/Vizient proprietary databases or similar data to help inform annual demand forecast required.
  • Skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including proficiency creating documents, analyze spreadsheets, and creating slide decks and presentations required.
  • Track record of cross-functional collaboration, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects required.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, and strong people and client relationship skills required.
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality and a passion for health care required.
  • Experience across multiple service lines, particularly cardiovascular-specific clinical operations, analytics, and quality improvement is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.
