As a Brand Scalers Intelligence and Capabilities (IC) Manager, you will connect the function and the capabilities, ensuring that technology solutions effectively align with the business needs and objectives.
This role is pivotal in leveraging technology for Unilever International's growth and operational efficiency, requiring a blend of strategic insight, technical expertise, and leadership skills.
You will act as a strategic advisor, collaborator, and facilitator, leveraging your understanding of processes and capabilities to drive innovation and enhance overall performance. The Intelligence capabilities (IC) should anticipate potential disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate the impact of unforeseen events. The Intelligence & Capabilities (IC) will continuously improve cooperation and communication between stakeholders and development teams and improve business analysis processes and practices.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Drive the digitization of the UI Brand Scalers program – We seed and incubate niche, premium, and heritage brands worldwide under this particular unique program. You will lead and develop.

Front-end D2C digital experiences, customer segmentation, service, and voice of customer capabilities.

Backend orchestration of Planning, Order to Cash, and Financial Value creation platforms for the Brand Scalers program.

Lead & manage the team of business analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and direction to ensure high-quality work and timely delivery. Monitor and report on the performance and progress of business analysis activities and take corrective action when necessary.

Business-Capabilities Alignment: Develop and maintain substantial relationships with stakeholders, including managers, analysts, and operations teams, to understand their challenges, goals, and technology requirements. Ensure the initiatives and solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of the function.

Technology Strategy: Developing a comprehensive technology strategy for the. This involves identifying opportunities for user experience, process automation, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies to optimize business operations, enhance visibility, and drive continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation: proactively explore new solutions to enhance business efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service. Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and procedures for business analysis and promote continuous improvement within the team and organization.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Coordinate and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to elicit and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases. Analyze these requirements and translate them into precise technical specifications to guide the development and implementation of suitable solutions. Ensure that project deliverables, such as user interface, functional specifications, business process models, and data integration, are accurate, complete, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

Project Management: Oversees the execution of the capability's programs related to the UI business. This includes project planning, resource allocation, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet the agreed-upon requirements.

Partners, Platforms, & Vendor Management: Collaborating with platforms, partners, and technology vendors to assess and select appropriate software or tools for the business. Evaluate proposals and manage relationships to ensure the delivery of quality solutions and services.

Change Management and User Adoption: pivotal in promoting user adoption and ensuring business staff are adequately trained to use new systems and tools efficiently.

Data Governance and Security: Collaborate with the security team to implement robust data governance and security measures to protect against data breaches and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Performance Metrics and KPIs: Establishing and monitoring performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs to assess the success of the initiatives.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES REQUIRED

Experience:

Minimum five years of experience in management roles covering business functions, digital transformation, or IT consulting.

High proficiency in Design Thinking, Agile methodology, Team Structures, Change Management, and Product development.

Preference to previous experience in a business partnering or project management roles covering cross-functional/global teams & delivering Capabilities /Technological products/programs.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, computer science, business administration, analytics, or a related field.

Preference to MBA.
