This is a part-time, remote, freelance role with the flexibility to decide your business hours. Candidate does not have to based in any specific location as the role is remote. This role is a great opportunity to supplement your current job or private practice.
You will be a practitioner on our telehealth platform 'Intellect', where your role is to support our clients' mental health and personal growth based on the individual needs and goals.
There are 4 roles that focus on different types of 1-on-1 sessions:
1. Network PsychiatristNetwork Psychiatrist will assist Intellect in providing psychiatric consultations (online and/or in person) wherein we will refer clients over to the network partner. As a member of our psychiatry network, the network psychiatrist will conduct appropriate clinical care within local regulations as well as necessary reporting and documentation.
We will refer clients who require clinical care over to our network psychiatrist. The psychiatrist will then schedule an initial consultation within 2 weeks of the referral and share with Intellect the expected treatment plan going forward. Network psychiatrist will thereafter be responsible for the continued treatment of the client, and will be required to provide periodic updates on the progress of the client thereafter. Our network psychiatrists are required to have the following credentials:
- Master Degree in Medicine (M. Med(Psychiatry) or equivalent qualification required to practice psychiatry
- Licensed/ Board certified to practice, prescribe and/or dispense medication in their respective countries based on the in-country requirements and regulations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residency
- Possesses good record in clinical excellence and commitment to medical education
- Ability to perform age-appropriate assessments on clients
- Able to interact effectively with clients of diverse educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications, listening, and social skills
- Compassionate about helping clients and using clinically proven protocols
Crisis Helpline Responders focus on providing immediate client intervention that are in need of immediate support through a hotline. Our responders are required to have the following background:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in helplines, either in a paid or voluntary capacity
- Can effectively communicate in their native language
- Completed training in Crisis Intervention or Suicide Prevention
- Experience working with high risk clinical situations (at risk of or affected by suicide or crisis cases) and
- Has the appropriate insurances required by your country
- Ability to maintain emotional composure in high stress situations, ability to bounce back from stressful interactions and high-risk cases
As a behavioral health coach you will focus on conducting 1-on-1 30 minute virtual coaching sessions that focus on subclinical cases (lack of motivation, stress, procrastination, etc). Our coaches are required to have the following credentials:
- Has a Master / Postgraduate Diploma training in Counselling / Clinical Psychology or ICF accreditation
- Skilled in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or other evidence-based approaches (e.g. Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT, etc.)
- Candidate must have accumulated at least 300 hours worth of sessions
- Candidate must be proficient in other languages other than English
- Candidates with prior experience in EAP, counselling working adults or coaching managerial roles is a plus
Clinical providers on the other hand focus on clients that are in need of higher touch care. They provide 60 minute clinical online sessions and assist potential clients with cases such as MDD, Phobia, Trauma, etc. Our clinical providers are required to have the following credentials:
- Has a Master / Postgraduate Diploma training in Clinical Psychology or Counselling
- Skilled in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or other evidence-based approaches (e.g. DBT, SFBT, etc.)
- Candidate must have accumulated at least 300 clinical hours
- Candidate must be proficient in other languages other than English
- Candidates with prior experience in EAP, counselling working adults or coaching managerial roles is a plus
Skills Required
- Master Degree in Medicine (M. Med Psychiatry) or equivalent qualification to practice psychiatry

- 2-3 years experience on helplines (paid or voluntary) or equivalent crisis-response experience
- Experience managing high-risk clinical situations (suicide risk, crisis cases)
- Hold appropriate professional insurances as required by country (for crisis responders)
- Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling or Clinical Psychology or ICF accreditation (coaches/providers)
- Skilled in CBT or other evidence-based approaches (e.g., MI, DBT, SFBT)
- Minimum 300 clinical/coaching hours accumulated (coaches and clinical providers)
- Proficiency in languages other than English
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse clients and maintain composure in high-stress interactions
- Prior experience in EAP, workplace counselling, or coaching managerial roles
- Commitment to documentation, reporting, and following local regulatory requirements
