In the UK, we own, operate and are significantly developing the 370 acre top tier COMAH site Saltend Chemicals Park (SCP.) The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for an Integrity Engineer. The primary function of the role is to manage integrity activities associated with the installed equipment at Saltend Chemicals Park. 
You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the SCP Asset Integrity programme following industry best-practice recommendations, to ensure it is effective and efficiently managed.
  • Effectively support and contribute to the planning/management of day-to-day/long-term Asset Integrity issues, balancing commercial and safety considerations.
  • Interface between the SCP Maintenance Team and the site inspection team / Competent body.
  • Develop work scopes for all integrity work orders – including photographs, job steps, facilitation resources, contract services, permit to work applications and outage management.
  • Being responsible for driving efficient performance of the site inspection team / Competent body.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the site CMMS and establishing a comprehensive risk register to support strategic planning and long‑term asset replacement.
  • Being involved with annual integrity internal audit programme
  • Taking part in Performance Standards verification audits
  • Ensure all aspects of Mechanical (specifically asset integrity) work are completed to programme in a safe and efficient manner.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum HND (degree preferred) in a relevant Engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Materials & Corrosion), or demonstrable experience in an equivalent technical role.
  • Have experience in the energy, oil, gas, petrochemical or chemical industry in a corrosion and/or integrity management role in relation to pressure systems.
  • Possess a strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms, degradation mitigation, relevant inspection techniques and interpretation of results
  • Have a strong knowledge of PSSR, COMAH and PUWER regulations, and knowledge of codes, standards and recommended practices pertaining to Integrity Management including but not limited to those published by API, ASME, EI, HOIS, DNV etc
  • Have an understanding of Risk Based Inspection assessment and requirements of Written Scheme of Examination and inspection due date compliance

Skills Required

  • Minimum HND in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering or Materials and Corrosion, or demonstrable equivalent technical experience.
