Integrations-, Test-, Verifikations- und Validierungs (ITVV) Manager (d/m/w) für nationale Satellitenbodensegmente im Raumfahrtbereich bei Airbus Space Engineering in Friedrichshafen 

Sie arbeiten in einem vielseitigen und engagierten Team in den Bereichen Weltraum- und Bodensystemarchitekturen, sichere Weltraumlösungen, Systemtechnik, Entwicklung, Betrieb, Datenverarbeitung und Leistungsmodellierung.

In Ihrer Rolle übernehmen Sie im nationalen Projektkontext die technische und programmatische Verantwortung für Integration, Test und Verifikation des Satellitenbodensegments. In Übereinstimmung mit den Projektzielen und Kundenanforderungen entwickeln Sie die IVV Strategie und setzen die Implementierung mit dem von ihnen angeführten Team um. Darüber hinaus unterstützen und betreuen Sie Junior-Teammitglieder als Mentor. Als Teil des integrierten Teams arbeiten Sie eng mit unseren Fachexperten für Kryptographie, Software-Assembly, Test und Integration (AIT) und des Satellitenbetriebs zusammen.

Aufgaben:

  • Technischer und programmatischer Lead für Software Verifikation, Test- und Integration in Raumfahrt-Bodensegment-Projekten

  • Spezifikation von Testabläufen und Integrationskampagnen inklusive Zeit- und Kostenplanung

  • Spezifikation des Testdesigns und des Testequipment

  • Analyse und Ableitung von Kundenanforderungen auf Subsystem- und Equipment-Ebene

  • Berücksichtigung von ECSS-Standards

  • Begleitung der Definition externer und interner Schnittstellen (ICDs)

  • Beitrag zu Angeboten

  • Technisches Unterauftragnehmer-Management

  • Leitung und Koordination der Arbeiten innerhalb des IVV Engineering Teams

  • Support für das System Engineering und Projekt Management Team

Qualifikationen:

  • Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium der technischen Informatik oder vergleichbar

  • Mehr als 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich (Software) IVV

  • Mehr als 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich System Engineering sowie mit entsprechenden Methoden und Werkzeugen

  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im Testmanagement, z.B. zertifizierter Tester nach ISTQB-Standard

  • Fortgeschrittene Erfahrungen im Umgang mit den Werkzeugen: JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence

  • Fortgeschrittene Fachkenntnisse in: Linux, OSI-Modell und Protokollen, Virtualisierung, Protokollierung

  • Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung (Agile development, Linux-Environments, DevOps, Kubernetes)

  • Erfahrung in der Führung kleiner Teams

  • Interesse und die Fähigkeit, sich schnell in neue Technologien einzuarbeiten

  • Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit nationalen Kunden und im Management technischer Stakeholder ist von Vorteil

  • Sehr gute Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeiten 

  • Fließende Sprachkenntnisse von Deutsch und Englisch

Integration, Test, Verification and Validation (ITVV) Manager (d/m/f) for national satellite ground segments in the space sector at Airbus Space Engineering in Friedrichshafen
You will work in a diverse and committed team in the areas of space and ground system architectures, secure space solutions, systems engineering, development, operations, data processing, and performance modeling.
In your role, you will take on technical and programmatic responsibility for the integration, testing, and verification of the satellite ground segment within the context of national projects. In accordance with project goals and customer requirements, you will develop the IVV strategy and implement it with the team you lead. Additionally, you will support and mentor junior team members. As part of the integrated team, you will work closely with our experts in cryptography, software assembly, test and integration (AIT), and satellite operations.

Tasks:

Technical and programmatic lead for software verification, testing, and integration in space ground segment projects

  • Specification of test procedures and integration campaigns, including time and cost planning

  • Specification of test design and test equipment

  • Analysis and derivation of customer requirements at the subsystem and equipment level

  • Consideration of ECSS standards

  • Support in the definition of external and internal interfaces (ICDs)

  • Contribution to tenders

  • Technical subcontractor management

  • Leadership and coordination of work within the IVV Engineering team

  • Support for the System Engineering and Project Management team

Required Skills:
Completed university degree in technical computer science or equivalent

  • More than 5 years of professional experience in the field of (software) IVV

  • More than 5 years of experience in systems engineering as well as with corresponding methods and tools

  • In-depth knowledge of test management, e.g., certified tester according to ISTQB standard

  • Advanced experience with the tools: JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence

  • Advanced expertise in: Linux, OSI model and protocols, virtualization, logging

  • Experience in software development (Agile development, Linux environments, DevOps, Kubernetes)

  • Experience in leading small teams

  • Interest and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technologies

  • Experience working with national customers and managing technical stakeholders is an advantage

  • Excellent communication and team skills

  • Fluent language skills in German and English
