Responsibilities
- Lead integration and verification activities for complex automotive electronic systems such as IVI, ADAS, and connected vehicle functions
- Develop software specifications, test strategies, and verification plans based on project requirements
- Create, execute, and maintain system-level and vehicle-level test cases
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue investigation at vehicle level
- Analyze quality issues and support corrective actions to improve system reliability and performance
- Manage issue tracking, reporting, and validation activities using ALM tools such as SystemWeaver
- Coordinate with software, hardware, validation, and cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and regulatory requirements including Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, NCAP, and GDPR
- Support software build, integration, release, and verification activities
- Prepare technical reports and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders and Integration & Verification managers
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in Integration & Verification engineering within automotive electronics or embedded systems domains
- Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2) and English (TOEIC 700+) communication skills
- Hands-on experience with complex electronic systems such as IVI, ADAS, telematics, or connected vehicle technologies
- Experience in test case creation, execution, and vehicle-level validation activities
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in vehicle integration environments
- Knowledge of automotive regulatory and compliance requirements including Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, NCAP, and GDPR
- Leadership or team coordination experience in engineering projects
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using ALM tools; SystemWeaver experience is highly preferred
