Role Overview:
As an Integration Specialist, you will focus on activities associated with maintaining and supporting configuration management, preparation for systems testing, software application development and maintenance of the development/integration environment.
You will be focused on devices within the F-AMTS program but may get exposure to other devices throughout training and onboarding phases, as well as support Systems Engineering specialties such Project Engineering, Systems Architecture and V&V.
Description
- Integration of hardware / software on new generation devices as well as older platforms across host, visual and other systems
- Preparation of simulators for testing (internal and customer)
- Assistance with testing of devices, as required
- Work with the engineering team to integrate mod kits and maintain master configurations (visual, host, other)
- Configuration manage development and integration environments to insure configuration control and all work takes place in a correct and consistent environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering or Computer Science; or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of software-hardware interface concepts.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., GitHub).
- Ability to work in a hybrid nature from the Homebush office (3 days on site per week and 2 days of flexibility).
- Ability to obtain or maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance – must be an Australian citizen!

- Solid understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues
