The Integration Specialist will design, develop, and implement software solutions to connect various enterprise business systems within Telesat, ensuring secure seamless data flow and communication. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing business requirements.
  • Participate in and/or lead, the planning of integration projects.
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions within the organization’s architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.
  • Research and make recommendations on integration products and services.
  • Testing and troubleshooting integrations.
  • Implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions of integration systems.
  • Provide guidance to other Applications Department members.
  • Identify and resolve system integration issues.
  • Assist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level application integration.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.
  • In-depth experience with API protocols
  • In-Depth experience with securing integrations
  • Direct, hands-on experience with automated integration tools
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques
  • Proven technical project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
