An Integration and Solution Analyst in the R&D Organization at Verisure, drives the Analysis, Use Case definition and API agreements with other organizations of the company and contributes to the implementation of technical solutions to address business needs.
An important part of the role includes translating business requirements into technical specifications, bridging the gap between business goals and technology capabilities, ensuring solutions align with organizational objectives and strategic vision.
You will oversee the implementation, validation and integration phases of said solutions, engaging with Product Owners of the different teams involved on the project.
This role requires a high level of engagement and involvement on the overall management of the project, including follow up with Project and Program Managers, reporting to the higher management of the organization and contributing to technical demonstrations and integration activities.
Software development (as a whole) will not be part of the daily tasks, but a very good knowledge of git, and previous experience developing software is required in order to be able to build and integrate different feature branches for revision, check bugfixes integration and/or participate in joint testing analysis.
Responsibilities- Analyze features scope, functional and system requirements.
- Participate in the joint definition of new feature descriptions and task review.
- Meet frequently with external teams to crunch requirements into clear boundaries and interactions between different subsystems.
- Review quality and completeness of documentation.
- Follow up on version control, releases and changelog documentation.
- Analyze software architecture and interfaces of products to be capable of defining and writing integration requirements.
- Review methodology and quality metrics. Follow up with developers to improve quality standards.
- Validate integration into releases and completion of deliverables. Work closely with developers during integration phases.
- Product Quality: customer satisfaction with product/product usage, traditional alarm product KPIs (such as supervision failure), ad-hoc product performance (such as voice calls success ratio).
- Development/delivery quality: Number of bugs after launch.
- Delivery on time and budget.
Direct report to Head of R&D Service Enablers Software in Madrid. Part of the engineering organization led by Chief Product & Services Officer.
This role is based in Madrid, travel can be required to Sweden or other European countries.
Experiences and QualificationsMust have requirements- 4+ years’ experience in the following areas:
- Software development with object-oriented languages using Linux.
- Product (vs Project) orientation
- Great knowledge on issue management tools such as Jira or RedMine
- Git usage, mastering of Gitflow.
- 2+ years’ experience in Definition and Analysis, either as Analyst, Product Owner or a similar role:
- Real world experience on Agile development
- Undertanding on what’s desired vs what’s possible
- Analysis of software requirements and definition of software tasks
- UML mastering
- Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or IT related background.
- Fluency in English.
- Development experience in C++, specially focused on embedded devices Software
- IoT and/or RF communication protocols.
- Test Driven Development methodologies.
- Great knowledge of Linux administration.
