- Feasibility Study & Solution Selection: With CFT to evaluate and propose suitable eMotor configurations for each vehicle program
- SOR, SOB: Align with CFT to release SOR (Statement of Requirements) and evaluate solution from supplier for SOB ( Supplier onboard)
- Work with CFT to release and update technical document SPB, DFMEA, DVP
- Work with CFT program to ensure sample quantity and quality for each build phase: Mule/EP/PTO/LS/SOP
- Work with CFT to ensure vehicle target (Range, performance, NVH, Thermal …) and responsibly to solve issue relate eMotor
- Ensure all lessons learn to be applied in each program
- Responsibility to check and evaluate ECR (Engineering Change Request) until from create to pre-CAB, CAB and then implement
- Work with homologation and after sale to provide information and ensure eMotor full fill market and homologation requirement
- Manage and schedule for ODX (Open Diagnostic Data Exchange), CAN DBC (CAN Database, DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code)
- Responsibility to work with CFT to solve all issue related eMotor and update JIRA system on time
- Manufacturing: Evaluate reuse of parts, manage inventory, and address inhouse manufacturing issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 Year experience in automotive industry, eMotor industry
- Compliance with ISO 26262 (functional safety), ISO 16949, and EMC/EMI standards.
- Deep knowledge of PMSM Motor or IM, SRM,EESM motor technologies.
- Understanding of motor design, torque-speed characteristics, efficiency maps, NVH, thermal management.
- Familiarity with winding design, magnetic materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of motor interface with battery pack, BMS, cooling system, and HV/LV harness, axle, body
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking – Analyzing situations, identifying causes, and finding effective solutions.
- Project planning & scheduling – Creating work breakdown structures, Gantt charts, critical path analysis.
- Communication – Translate complex engineering concepts for executives, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Understand vehicle development process and deliveable of Mule, EP, PTO, LS, SOP
- Ability to deploy and document for , SPB, SOR, DFMEA, DVP, troubleshooting reports, ECR.
