Integration Execution Specialist

Job Description

Fragomen is seeking an Integration Execution Specialist to join our Client Data Integration (CDI) team. This technical role is responsible for configuring, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting client integrations using Fragomen’s established integration capabilities.

The Integration Execution Specialist works closely with the Integration Solutions team to translate documented implementation requirements into properly configured integrations. Depending on experience, the specialist may primarily support API-based integrations, flat-file integrations, or a combination of both.

This is a hands-on technical implementation and support role responsible for both flat-file and API integrations. For flat-file integrations, the Integration Execution Specialist performs the full technical implementation lifecycle, including scripting, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support. For API integrations, the specialist configures, tests, deploys, monitors, troubleshoots, and supports Fragomen’s established API capabilities but does not design, architect, or develop the APIs themselves.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to work independently, manage assigned technical activities, and deliver work in accordance with established project execution protocols, technical standards, controls, and timelines.
• Review approved implementation requirements and identify technical questions, dependencies, security considerations, or configuration concerns before implementation begins.
• Perform the end-to-end technical implementation of flat-file integrations, including development, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and production support.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain PowerShell or similar scripts supporting automated file and folder processing and secure transfers between client-hosted environments and approved internal locations.
• Configure and support scheduled flat-file processes using applicable automation, scheduling, and file-transfer tools.
• Implement secure file-transfer processes using SFTP and PGP/GPG encryption or decryption, including appropriate handling of encryption keys, service accounts, credentials, access permissions, and internal delivery locations.
• Build operational controls for flat-file integrations, including file and folder reconciliation, validation, duplicate prevention, exception handling, retry and restart capability, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Configure, test, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and support client integrations using Fragomen’s established API capabilities.
• Validate API connectivity, authentication, configuration, mappings, payloads, responses, error handling, and expected integration behavior.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, connectivity or authentication issues, configuration issues, and production incidents.
• Use available technical tools, logs, and data to identify root causes and determine the appropriate resolution or escalation.
• Configure and test approved changes and enhancements to existing flat-file and API integrations.
• Coordinate with Integration Solutions when client, business, or requirements clarification is needed.
• Support go-live, stabilization, and transition to ongoing production support for flat-file and API integrations.
• Escalate new API development, integration architecture decisions, product defects, security concerns, and issues outside CDI’s technical scope to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including configurations, scripts, testing evidence, deployment procedures, troubleshooting guidance, and production runbooks.
• Contribute to technical standards, reusable scripts, knowledge resources, and improvements to CDI execution practices.
• Participate in cross-training to build broader capability across CDI integration technologies.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting systems integrations, data integrations, or similar technical solutions in production environments.
• Hands-on experience performing the end-to-end technical implementation and support of automated flat-file integrations.
• Experience supporting API integrations is preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate the technical aptitude and willingness to learn how to configure, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and support established API capabilities.
• Experience performing the end-to-end technical implementation of flat-file integrations, including development, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Hands-on experience developing, testing, deploying, and supporting PowerShell or similar scripts in a production environment.
• Experience automating SFTP file transfers, including processing multiple folders and embedded files while preserving required directory structures.
• Experience implementing PGP/GPG encryption or decryption within automated file-transfer processes.
• Experience building reliable unattended processes with validation, reconciliation, duplicate prevention, exception handling, logging, retries, restart capability, monitoring, and operational alerting.
• Experience diagnosing data, configuration, authentication, connectivity, file-processing, and other integration issues using technical tools and logs.
• Ability to interpret approved technical requirements and apply them accurately during implementation, configuration, and testing.
• Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining technical configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production-support documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple technical assignments and priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Candidates must have hands-on experience implementing and supporting automated flat-file integrations, including production scripting. Experience with API integrations is beneficial but not required; the successful candidate will be expected to develop the skills needed to configure, test, troubleshoot, and support Fragomen’s established API capabilities.
