Title: Software Engineer (Integrations)
Role Overview: We are looking for talented JavaScript or Java Developers who are interested in pivoting into the specialized field of Systems Integration. As an Integration Engineer, you will be a key player in building and scaling our innovative software solutions by connecting various systems and data sources. You will work alongside a talented team to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable applications, gaining exposure to modern software practices such as microservices and cloud deployments. While a strong foundation in Java or JavaScript is essential for understanding data structures and logic, your daily workflow will shift away from heavy manual coding. Instead, you will leverage enterprise cloud platforms to orchestrate integrations. Your value isn't measured by lines of code, but by your ability to design the logic that governs how these platforms interact
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Integrations as part of our regular software development process.
- Leverage programming expertise to connect various systems and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Implement APIs, transformations, and orchestration patterns within integration platforms to achieve desired outcomes.
- Communicate with different teams for code reviews and collaborate to integrate CI/CD workflows.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for integration flows, system architecture, and API specifications.
Must Have Skills:
- 2-4 years of professional experience in backend or software development.
- Proficient in JavaScript (Node.js) or Java with the ability to learn others quickly.
- A strong desire to work with integration technologies such as REST APIs, SOAP, and messaging protocols.
- Familiarity with data transformation and mapping techniques using formats like JSON or XML.
- Ability to identify, debug, and resolve technical issues using robust analytic thinking.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft, BizTalk, or Dell Boomi.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other enterprise iPaaS solutions.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
