We are seeking a creative and multi-talented engineer for our Professional Services team. Professional Services ensure technical success of Conviva product deployments by managing software integration and performing consulting services. This position is best suited for someone with programming skills as well as strong diagnostic, multitasking, and very strong communication skills, particularly with regards to customer relations. As a member of this group, you will be responsible for taking customers from interested to fully consuming Conviva's products and services.
What You Get To Do
- Lead customer relationships through software integration and deployment process.
- Be the main technical point of contact guiding the customer to integrate Conviva's solutions based on best practices and technical knowledge.
- Develop/integrate independently or troubleshoot client's code in a variety of programming languages and IDE’s.
- Fix/tweak Conviva libraries or SDKs to fit customer's unique requirements.
- Keep current on all Conviva's software SDKs and APIs across new platforms.
- Manage several simultaneous work streams to completion.
- Positively influence Conviva prioritization within customer by "making it easy".
What You Bring To The Role
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- App development experience on at least two platforms - iOS, Android, Web, Roku or Smart TVs.
- Work experience with two or more of the following technologies: Objective-C, C++, Swift, Java, JavaScript, SceneGraph.
- Proficiency with OOP.
- Ability to lead customer-facing technical meetings.
- Accountable and result oriented who is comfortable to work in a dynamic start-up environment and can take things to completion.
- Positive can-do attitude to help clients navigate through challenging problems with easy creative solutions.
Bonus points
- Experience integrating 3rd party analytics in an app.
- Experience with online video player (ExoPlayer, AVPlayer etc.) and integration with video delivery platforms.
- Familiar analyzing big data.
