About this opportunity
Ericsson is looking for a RAN Integration Engineer to join our team and contribute to the integration, testing and deployment of Radio Access Network and transport solutions.You will collaborate with international project teams, product specialists, operations and field personnel to configure, integrate, migrate and troubleshoot Ericsson network solutions.
What you will do
- Perform product and network configuration, integration and migration activities for Radio and Transport solutions.
- Execute functional tests to verify software and hardware functionality and quality.
- Investigate technical issues, report errors, validate fixes and support root-cause analysis.
- Check and ensure the accessibility and controllability of network elements.
- Use scripting and coding to automate activities, improve efficiency and support integration workflows.
- Troubleshoot network problems and provide technical support to Operations and Maintenance personnel and field technicians.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders in international Ericsson projects.
The skills you bring
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electronics, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least three years of experience working with mobile network systems.
- Knowledge of Ericsson Radio System.Good knowledge of GSM, WCDMA, LTE and NR technologies
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux, including command-line operation
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
- Fluency in spoken and written Slovakian and English.
- Strong analytical, learning and research skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and an interest in creating and innovating.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Programming or scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java or similar.
