ModMed is hiring a driven Integration Consultant III with a passion for technology to help revolutionize the world of Healthcare IT. The Integration Consultants assist in maintaining and automating the infrastructure and systems that power customers’ complex integrations to lab and other 3rd party systems. This is a great opportunity to be at the core of a data-driven business that that is truly Modernizing Medicine!
Your Role:
- Build, deploy, and support integrations between the Xtract application and third-party systems using Mirth Connect and other applications.
- Integrate, map, and translate data among Cloud and on-premise systems.
- Document and develop integration API and HL7 solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, test, and delivery with Product Teams for new feature sets and integrations
- Provide strategy, architecture, design, and automation options to increase efficiencies and simplify integration across multiple platforms.
- Technical SME and Solution Architect for Mirth Connect for administration, installation, configuration, scalability, channel deployments/enhancements, best practices, and new development (code templates).
- Resolve issues and document changes to integration solutions.
- Perform tasks off-hours as needed to complete specific projects or tasks.
- Perform ongoing maintenance tasks such as application support (MySQL queries/reports/tuning ) and app upgrades, server migrations, backend configurations, and controls.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Five or more years working with SQL, relational databases, and JavaScript.
- Mastery of GIT version control and code repository.
- Mastery of Mirth, HL7, API design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong commitment to quality, architecture, and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Mastery of organizing information, managing tasks, and using available tools to effectively contribute to a team and the organization.
- Familiarity working with C# development and process building & deployment.
- Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 web standards
