Summary:

We are seeking a technically proficient Integration Architect to design, implement, and maintain scalable integration solutions across Workday, PeopleSoft, and various cloud-based platforms. This role is critical in ensuring seamless data exchange, process automation, and secure operations across enterprise systems. 

The Integration Architect assists the Senior Integration Architect and works directly with an appointed team member or project manager to ensure the information needs of the college are met. 

Compensation for the Integration Architect is $58,344.00-$65,624.00 annually.

*This is an in-office position.

Essential Functions

• Design and implement integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, Workday Extend, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud).

• Develop and maintain APIs and web services (REST/SOAP) for internal and external integrations.

• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.

• Configure and support Workday Business Processes (BPs) to align with integration workflows.

• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all integrations.

• Maintain and enforce security protocols across large-scale cloud-based systems.

• Monitor integration performance and resolve issues proactively.

• Maintain technical documentation including data flow diagrams and integration specifications.

• Perform related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 2 years of experience developing enterprise systems integrations OR associate's degree in computer science or related field with 5 years of experience supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems OR High School Diploma or Equivalent with 7 years of experience working in systems support and managing virtual server environments, infrastructure, implementation, concepts, and technologies.

• Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, and Application Engine.

• Experience with SFTP, OAuth2, and other secure data exchange protocols.

• Experience maintaining security and access controls in large cloud-based environments.

• Ability to write and tune complex SQL statements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid analytical, organizational and project management skills.

• Provide supervisory & technical leadership in systems maintenance and support.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to ever changing situations, priorities, and deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and maintain effective working relationships with other people.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical leadership and managerial experience.

• Familiarity with open system application development software.

• Experience with a variety of hardware and software systems.

• Experience with Web-based application development.

• Demonstrated ability to plan, budget, and manage resources.

• Experience working in a higher education environment.

• Experience with Workday Studio and Workday Extend.

• Experience with Workday Web Services (WWS), EIB, Core Connectors, and Business Process configuration.

• Experience with Middleware platforms: MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud.

• Experience with API development (REST, SOAP), XML, XSLT, JSON.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
