Inside the Role
At DDC, the Integrated Supply Chain Strategy and Development Supervisor ensures the integrity, compliance, and strategic alignment of Supply Chain Planning and Operations function. This role supports the company mission to lead sustainable transportation by embedding governance frameworks, driving supply chain accountability, and enabling data-driven decision-making across supply chain.Integrated Supply Chain Strategy & Development supervisor plays a crucial role in steering and managing the execution of the local supply chain strategy in close collaboration with the Director of Supply Chain Management and Network Planning at DDC. This includes continuous refinement of Supply chain strategy roadmap based on internal performance insights and external market impulses, tracking execution progress, and reporting on project status across the supply chain organization.
The role leads complex, cross-functional initiatives that directly impact the local and global supply chain team and influence broader business operations. In addition to strategic execution, the role is responsible for driving development of the supply chain organization through planning, documentation, and vendor performance initiatives.

Position offers a starting salary range of $104,000.00 - $133,000.00 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
SCM Strategy Development & Execution
Develop the local supply chain strategy in close collaboration with the Head of SCM and Network Management ensuring alignment with global network management objectives and Operational initiatives
Review and update the SCM transformation roadmap by collaborating with functional stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives
Track execution status of the strategy and continuously update the strategy based on evolving market dynamics and internal performance insights, organizational targets
Ensure cross-functional alignment between supply chain initiatives and corporate strategies, working closely with functional stakeholders to develop business cases for strategic initiatives
Data Governance & Analytics, Documentation
Oversee data quality within supply chain organization to update department KPI metrics and domain.
Utilize ERP and analytics platforms to generate insights and performance reports and support strategic cost optimization measures through data-driven analysis
Responsible for digitalization roadmap creation and steering within the supply chain organization
Develop supply chain improvement plans to enhance on-time shipment and delivery tools.
Optimize inventory levels for Detroit aggregates and reduce constraint costs
Leadership
Ability to work effectively within a complex global network to achieve team targets and balance multi-plant requirements
Lead, motivate, and develop assigned staff by utilizing continuous feedback culture
Comply with all company and location wide regulations and guidelines valid for the area of responsibility
Proven ability to lead/execute change management to support global TT/ON strategies

Project Management, Execution & Performance Tracking
Lead and drive strategic and transformational initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency, network resilience, scalability, and cost optimization across operations functions
Develop and implement structured project management methodologies to enhance execution excellence
Oversee and track a portfolio of supply chain projects with moderate to high complexity, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and deliver measurable impact
Identify risks, create mitigation plans, and ensure proactive problem-solving to address challenges
Develop project success measurements and surveys to measure performance
Governance & Compliance, Supply Chain Planning & Performance
Support internal audits and compliance reviews across Supply Chain mgmt. and logistics.
Support end-to-end supply chain planning functions for Detroit products (IBL, in-plant, OBL).
Monitor performance using KPIs and scorecards; drive corrective actions.
Collaborate with TT/O teams to improve processes and meet group targets.
Contribute to freight cost planning, forecasting, and auditing.
Organizational Development
Review, design and refine the SCM target operating model and derive organizational development efforts in collaboration with the SCM leadership to ensure strategic alignment and operational effectiveness
Design training roadmaps tailored to functional, and leadership needs to build and sustain supply chain capabilities
Drive change management and communication to support successful implementation of organizational initiatives and ensure employee engagement and adoption
Develop project success metrics and feedback mechanisms, including surveys, to evaluate performance and continuously drive a culture of operational excellence
Financials:
Prepare and manage department budget including headcount, fixed and variable cost, capex, funding for supply chain related costs and other non-manpower costs including key strategic initiatives
Responsible for internal reporting and monitoring of department budget in relevant forums
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with other Operational units, Manufacturing, Purchasing, IT, and Finance to align governance goals.
Act as a liaison for internal stakeholders on supply chain policy and performance metrics.
Continuous improvement
Evaluate processes, tools, systems, meetings, and communications on an on-going basis to find ways to work more efficiently and effectively, both internally and externally.
Collaborate with TT/G and TT/O, teams to improve processes and ensure all teams are collectively meeting and/or exceeding overall group targets.
Develop tools to improve efficiency and performance across supply chain functions.
Knowledge You Should Bring
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, related field
7+ years of experience in supply chain governance or supplier management, preferably in automotive or heavy-duty vehicle manufacturing
Experience in Daimler Truck OU outside of North America and strong understanding of DTNA/ DDC/TT organization operational structure and supplier ecosystem
2+ years of project management experience and strong analytical skills, experience working in a matrixed global organization with cross-functional teams
Detailed knowledge of supplier landscape (regional and global) for Detroit Diesel Corporation and the Global Truck technology group, supply chain principles/processes and manufacturing processes & practices
Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with supply chain analytics tools.
3+ years of supply chain experience and strong network within global TT organization & DTNA, Familiarity with TT tools and processes
Demonstrated ability to create strategies, align the organization and implement initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and detailed oriented work environment
Strong competency for managing cross functional and global teams is required.
Ability to lead a team in challenging environment; balance strategic and operational tasks; prioritize activities.
Ability to be a great team player with multiple stakeholders within and across different business units.
Excellent track record in communicating verbally and in writing at all levels, both internally and with suppliers.
