It directly impacts in stock performance, spoilage reduction, and profitability for over 2 million article/site combinations and 4,500+ daily orders across 1,200+ stores, while also supporting Wawa’s transition from a store centric forecasting model to a fully integrated, multi level planning structure that connects suppliers, warehouses, and stores with RELEX, and enabling scalable processes, system readiness, and data accuracy to support company growth, including new store openings and remodels.

Principal Duties:

  • Strengthen end‑user capabilities by providing training, and on-going support aligned to roles and areas of responsibility.
  • Partner with leaders across Centralized Demand Planning, Marketing, Category Planning, Store Operations, Warehouses/DCs, and broader supply chain teams to align business rule logic, forecasting approaches, and replenishment strategies with business requirements.
  • Provide strategic recommendations that reduce waste, improve gross profit, enhance new store and remodel processes and strengthen in‑stock performance across stores.
  • Own system configuration and performance for promotional events, machine‑learning models, macro‑level forecasting, waste reduction, and replenishment optimization.
  • Manage forecasting and replenishment strategies for enterprise‑wide events and planned warehouse closures to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Identify, build, and maintain necessary business rule adjustments and system exceptions to enable early detection of anomalies and forecasting and replenishment risks.
  • Use analytics to translate complex system data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide analytical leadership and system expertise on forecasting or replenishment-related projects.
  • Ensure project objectives and prioritization align with corporate strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT and RELEX to align technical solutions with business requirements.
