Base salary will be in the range $95,361 - $102,302 + super (HEW Level 6)

UQ International Development delivers impactful, international development projects by connecting global partners with the knowledge, expertise and leadership of The University of Queensland. As a Senior Project Officer, Integrated Projects, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting the end to end development and delivery of complex ACIAR and DFAT funded programs. Working within a collaborative, high performing team, this role offers variety, global engagement and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful outcomes that create change together.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating elements of the project delivery cycle, including planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation across multiple concurrent projects.
Supporting tender, technical and financial proposal development, including budget formulation, team identification and project handovers.
Providing high quality project administration, reporting, documentation and secretariat support to ensure compliance with agreed methodologies and stakeholder requirements.
Facilitating effective communication and information sharing across project teams and with diverse domestic and international stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
You are an organised, proactive professional who thrives in a fast paced, internationally focused environment and enjoys working across multiple projects and stakeholders. You will bring:
A Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Demonstrated experience providing project coordination and/or administrative support, ideally within international development or a related sector.
A developing understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Advanced written and oral communication skills, with confidence engaging diverse domestic and international stakeholders.
Experience supporting stakeholder engagement across government, donors, academic and industry partners.
Advanced capability in excel and project management tools such as smartsheet, or the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
Subject matter knowledge of the international development sector, including funding mechanisms and delivery requirements.
