About Us
ConocoPhillips’ Australian headquarters are located in Brisbane. Our focus is supplying Australian customers with natural gas and international customers with liquefied natural gas. We do this through our 47.5 percent interest in the Australia Pacific LNG joint venture, one of the largest producers of natural gas in eastern Australia. ConocoPhillips Australia also operates the Australia Pacific LNG liquefied natural gas facility near Gladstone. We are also an exploration company, with ongoing exploration occurring in the Bowen and Surat Basin in Central Queensland and new exploration in the Otway Basin along the southern coast of Australia to identify natural gas reserves for supply to Australian customers.
About the Role
The Integrated Operations Lead will facilitate day-to-day cross-functional support provided to Curtis Island LNG Facility Operations from the Brisbane office, helping APLNG Downstream Operations meet HSE, production, and other business targets.
Additionally, you will be responsible for key aspects of integrated production planning, including (but not limited to) daily and monthly hydrocarbon engineering and accounting to identify system losses, allocate these losses to close the facility mass balance, and support tasks required to safely and effectively deliver shipping Annual Delivery Plans.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Facilitate the daily meeting between the Brisbane and Curtis Island LNG Facility based teams to set operational priorities and identify support requirements from the Brisbane-based team.
Engage with APLNG Downstream Operations stakeholders to align the production plan with operational capabilities and constraints.
Conduct regular reviews of integrated operations effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform daily and monthly LNG production mass balance to identify losses and collaborate with other APLNG Downstream Operations functions to optimise facility production.
Implement plans for LNG tank inventory, boil-off gas, and LNG loading management to mitigate risks associated with vessel loading.
Liaise with Global Marine Assurance, LNG buyers, vessel charterers, operators, and regulators to facilitate the resolution of mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical issues during unplanned vessel events.
Act as Custodian and Change Management Owner of the Energy Components hydrocarbon accounting software system.
Serve as the secondary point of contact for all AEMO reporting.
Perform other tasks as requested by the Integrated Operations Manager.

- 3–10 years’ experience supporting an operational Major Hazard Facility
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines, with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across multiple disciplines and organisational boundaries
- LNG industry experience (preferred)
