Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for Integrated Master Scheduler role to work in our San Antonio, TX office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems mission. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex systems. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in program management tools to identify, track, and report key milestones and contract deliverables across multiple programs.
- Develop and maintain resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using scheduling theory and best practices to support the Integrated Defensive Cyber System (IDCS) and related programs.
- Establish and manage scheduling business rhythms, including the creation of baseline schedules and supporting artifacts to meet contractual and project requirements.
- Monitor, analyze, and report schedule performance against baselines to ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and delivery objectives.
- Create, maintain, and publish accurate Master Schedules, detailing tasks, resources, and timelines required to meet customer-defined milestones and delivery dates.
- Coordinate with government and industry partners to build detailed schedules and ensure seamless integration into the overarching Master Schedule.
- Maintain and track internal and external schedule dependencies, incorporating them into risk management strategies.
- Identify and manage major milestones, decision points, and key lifecycle events, ensuring they are reflected accurately in the schedule.
- Determine and track the project’s critical path, task sequencing, and dependencies to mitigate schedule risks.
- Perform “what-if” scenario planning to evaluate alternative paths, identify potential risks, and support decision-making.
- Implement and enforce version control processes, policies, and procedures to maintain integrity and accuracy of all schedules.
- Support schedule estimating efforts by gathering input from team members and stakeholders to update work estimates and forecasts.
- Generate schedule performance reports, comparing planned versus actual progress and highlighting variances to support corrective action planning.
- Contribute to risk mitigation and issue resolution activities through proactive schedule analysis and collaboration with program teams.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as required, contributing scheduling expertise to cross-functional teams.
- Regularly assess program metrics and provide insights to Program Managers, ensuring program support requirements and objectives are met.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional areas to identify, manage, and maintain all schedule tasks and dependencies.
- Extensive experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development, including facilitating meetings and working one-on-one to define project activities, resource requirements, predecessors/successors, milestones, and potential impacts.
- Strong proficiency in MS Project and/or other scheduling tools such as MS Project Server or Deltek Open Plan.
- Deep understanding of scheduling theory and best practices, including familiarity with industry standards such as the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG).
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining IMS architecture based on Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) or Integrated Master Plans (IMP).
- Solid working knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and its practical application in schedule analysis and forecasting.
- Experience in baseline change control processes and IMS configuration management.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the development and maintenance of the Master Schedule.
- Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber or USCYBERCOM
- Prior experience with defensive cyber
- Prior experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project

Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
