The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist provides classified and unclassified logistics and product support services in support of PM PNT programs, initiatives, and objectives. This role ensures compliance with Army regulations, DoD policies, and statutory requirements across the system life cycle, from acquisition through sustainment. The position supports planning, documentation, audits, budgeting, and acquisition activities to enable effective and auditable logistics and sustainment outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide integrated logistics and product support services in accordance with applicable Army regulations, DoD instructions, and U.S. Code Title 10 requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and support logistics and product support documentation, including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Core Logistics Analyses (CLA), Core Depot Assessments (CDA), DSOR analyses, Integrated Logistics Assessments (ILA), Business Case Analyses (BCA), materiel release and type classification packages, Item Unique Identification (IUID) plans, integrated master schedules, and logistics-related Acquisition Decision Memorandums.
- Participate in classified and unclassified meetings, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and working groups in support of PM PNT systems and initiatives.
- Support short- and long-range logistics and product support planning, including analysis and recommendations for logistics resource requirements, budget formulation, and sustainment funding. Assist with OPS-29, depot maintenance budgeting, and POM development and program reviews.
- Assist in the development and update of internal controls, logistics policies, standards, and procedures in response to new laws, regulations, and DoD or Army directives.
- Support fielding synchronization efforts by coordinating, preparing, and briefing logistics and sustainment data aligned with PM PNT Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Support logistics audits and audit readiness by maintaining, reviewing, updating, and providing sustainment documentation for internal and external audits, including Army Audit Agency, ASA (FM&C), DA G-4, Logistics Innovation Agency, and DoD Inspector General audits.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and evaluation of acquisition documentation, including Statements of Objectives (SOO), Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and performance specifications. Provide technical input and support proposal evaluations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Army or DoD logistics, product support, or sustainment planning
- Familiarity with DoD 5000-series acquisition processes and logistics documentation
- Experience supporting audits, budget planning, and acquisition activities
- Ability to work in both classified and unclassified environments
- Strong written, analytical, and briefing skills
- Active secret clearance
Clearance Requirements
Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
