Position title: Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Outfitting and Configuration Personnel

Location: Mobile, Alabama

Clearance required: SECRET

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare outfitting and configuration management materials (e.g. charts, briefs) for Project reviews. The Contractor shall also generate ad-hoc outfitting reports.
  • Participate in outfitting material aboard the cutter. The Contractor shall also participate in Physical Configuration Audits (PCA).
  • Attend meetings in relation to assisting the COR. Prepare and provide presentations for outfitting and PCA status.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or related technical/business field. Substitution for a bachelor’s degree will be minimum of four years of relevant experience in addition to the required minimum years of experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience relevant to supporting logistics or configuration and shipbuilding processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of shipbuilding processes such as but not limited to: Technical Assessment Review (TAR), Proposal development, equipment life cycle cost, logistics life cycle sustainment and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in outfitting/load out of ship.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Configuration Management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Physical Configuration Audits.
  • Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to organize, plan, conduct, evaluate and administer the outfitting/configuration program. The ability to produce reports, briefs, and presentations.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or related technical/business field (or 4 years additional relevant experience in lieu of degree)
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting logistics, configuration, or shipbuilding processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of shipbuilding processes (TAR, proposal development, equipment life cycle cost, logistics life cycle sustainment, ECP processes)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge in outfitting and load out of ship
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Configuration Management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)
  • Analytical and evaluative skills to organize, plan, conduct, evaluate, and administer outfitting/configuration programs
  • Ability to produce reports, briefs, and presentations
  • Secret security clearance
