Job Summary
Responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of grant administration, including securing external funding opportunities, managing grant applications, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and overseeing the financial and reporting aspects of grant-funded projects.Essential Functions
-Identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, private foundations, and other funding sources aligned with the hospital's priorities and research objectives.
-Prepare and submit grant applications, proposals, and budgets in collaboration with department heads, researchers, and other stakeholders.
-Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, guidelines, and regulations set by funding agencies and grantors.
-Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to manage grant budgets, monitor expenses, and allocate funds according to grant restrictions.
-Facilitate communication and coordination among team members involved in grant projects to ensure successful implementation.
-Monitor project milestones and progress, addressing any challenges that may arise during the grant period.
-Work closely with finance and accounting teams to create and manage grant budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring alignment with grant guidelines.
-Assist in internal and external audits related to grant funding, ensuring documentation and records are accurate and readily available.
-Establish effective communication channels with funding agencies, grantors, and other external partners to maintain positive relationships and facilitate grant-related activities.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required and Master's Degree preferred (experience can be accepted in lieu of education)
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of Grant Writing/Administration experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of grant funding processes, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple grants simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling grant proposals and reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis.
