Role:  Integrated Digital Senior Designer

Location:   Dublin, Ireland, United Kingdom

 About the role: 

OLIVER is looking for a talented Integrated Digital Designer to join our amazing team of creatives in the creation of on-brand, top-tier marketing materials for our major hospitality client. As an Integrated Digital Designer you will have strong creative skills, be comfortable taking projects from brief to completion, and provide new ideas and creativity while working closely with the client’s brand guidelines. You’ll also be comfortable pushing boundaries and thinking conceptually about new initiatives, with a focus on paid social and video. Reporting to the Art Director, you will work closely as part of our team designing and producing a variety of materials. In the day to day, you’ll be executing great work creating paid social placements, videos, storyboards, banner ads, email marketing, and more with an understanding of visual development for campaigns and brands. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and as part of an awesome group! If you are excited about bringing your digital, video, and print skills to a team that is looking to push the boundaries on work and create great experiences for customers, then this is a great role for you. This role is temp to perm. 

What you will be doing: 
  • Collaborating day to day with a team of art directors, designers, copywriters and account managers to produce beautiful and innovative designs and concepts for paid social, mobile, banners, video, print and beyond to define campaigns. 
  • Owning the full design lifecycle from concept to execution for new initiatives, as well as working within established brand templates for our business-as-usual work. 
  • Presenting your work (both internally and to clients) to articulate and advocate your design rationale. 
  • Effectively managing workloads within agreed timelines. 
  • Proactively monitoring artwork quality with a constant desire to improve and adapt to drive consistency across mediums. 
  • Overseeing and managing the preparation of all finished files that will comply with the correct output specifications.   
  • Working proactively under own initiative and as part of the design team.  
What you need to be great in this role: 
  • 3+ years of work experience that demonstrates impeccable craft and command of creative concepts, visual concepts, and design across a variety of projects. 
  • Experience and a strong interest in social media design with a passion for staying ahead of the curve on trends to bring fresh and innovative solutions to our work. 
  • Hospitality experience preferred but not required. 
  • The ability to take projects from concept to completion, with a history of translating strategic thinking into compelling, visual ideas. 
  • Be adaptable to priorities of business and produce great work in given timeframes. 
  • Able to gather feedback judiciously but know when to follow guidelines/vision. 
  • Understand how to work on a range of designs within brand guidelines while utilizing modern aesthetics. 
  • Deep knowledge and production experience with integrated and digital campaigns. 
  • Experience and a strong passion for motion graphics and video. From storyboard concepting through to production with strong animation background and skills 
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, etc.) PremierPro experience a bonus.  
  • Able to effectively understand and execute against specific brand guidelines. 
  • Persuasive communication and presentation skills with colleagues and clients.
