Description:

We are currently hiring an Insurance Sales Consultant in Hawaii.

This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office three days per week.

The Insurance Sales Consultant is a mid-level, client-facing sales and program development role focused on growing new Property and Casualty business in Hawaii, with the ability to replicate and expand the model into additional geographies over time. This role will partner closely with a property management company, individual HOAs/associations, and insurance carriers to design, market, and convert scalable insurance program solutions for prospects and new clients.

The individual will drive new business activity from discovery through proposal and placement support, while also building repeatable tools and materials to improve speed-to-market and conversion.

We will count on you to:

Sales Execution & Client Development (Hawaii focus)

  • Develop and convert new Hawaii Property and Casualty opportunities, with emphasis on property-management-led portfolios and affiliated HOAs/associations.
  • Lead prospecting, discovery, and qualification; identify decision-makers, buying triggers, and coverage gaps; and manage opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations for HOA stakeholders (e.g., boards, community managers, finance committees), clearly explaining coverage options, pricing drivers, and trade-offs.
  • Respond to client/prospect questions and concerns promptly; resolve issues and coordinate internal resources to maintain momentum and client confidence.

Program Development (Property + Casualty solution)

  • Assist in designing coordinated P&C program solutions that can be applied consistently across multiple HOAs under the property management relationship.
  • Build and refine repeatable program components (e.g., intake templates, underwriting data checklists, recommended coverage/limit approaches, service model, proposal/presentation decks, and renewal strategy).
  • Support internal marketing and positioning of the program to increase consistency and scalability and enable expansion beyond Hawaii.

Carrier / Market Engagement & Placement Support

  • Work directly with Marsh brokers to communicate the opportunity, confirm appetite, coordinate underwriting data needs, and obtain indications/quotes.
  • Support submission strategy and placement readiness by organizing exposure data, facilitating Q&A, and helping align program structure to carrier requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions, capacity, and loss trends impacting HOA/property management portfolios; incorporate insights into solutions and sales strategy.

Pipeline Management & Reporting

  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and documentation (activity, stage progression, next steps, and expected revenue timing).
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, barriers to close, and support needed to advance opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition from sale/placement into service and renewal support while staying engaged to protect retention and expansion.

What you need to have:

  • Mid-level commercial insurance experience in a client-facing role (sales, broking support, or business development) involving Property and Casualty.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence outcomes with multiple stakeholders (executives, boards, committees, and carrier partners).
  • Proven ability to run discovery, develop solutions, and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Strong organization and follow-through: able to manage multiple concurrent prospects, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of placement fundamentals and underwriting information requirements for commercial P&C.
  • Ability to work primarily focused on Hawaii with flexibility to expand scope/territory as the program grows.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience with real estate, habitational, HOA/association, property management, or similar portfolio-driven business.
  • Experience developing repeatable “program” or affinity-style offerings (templates, playbooks, standard proposal approach).
  • Existing carrier relationships relevant to habitational/real estate risks.
  • Insurance license in Hawaii (or ability/willingness to obtain as required for the role).

Why join our team:
