Position SummaryThe Insurance Sales Consultant is responsible for generating new business, developing customer relationships, and providing insurance solutions tailored to each customer's needs. This role focuses on delivering outstanding service while helping customers understand their coverage options and make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Generate and follow up on insurance leads through dealership referrals, phone calls, email, text messaging, and networking
- Conduct insurance reviews and identify opportunities to improve customer coverage
- Prepare and present insurance quotes and policy recommendations
- Educate customers on available coverage options, deductibles, limits, and benefits
- Cross-sell and bundle insurance products to maximize customer value and protection
- Assist customers throughout the policy application and onboarding process
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within agency systems
- Meet or exceed monthly sales, retention, and customer satisfaction goals
- Stay current on insurance products, carrier programs, and industry regulations
- Deliver a professional, transparent, and customer-focused experience at every interaction

Proven ability to work in sales, preferably in insurance or finance.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle documentation thoroughly.

Self-starter / able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Professional attire and presentation.

Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Willingness to complete required state/company insurance training.
