We are seeking a talented individual to join our Specialisy- Insurence Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Southfield, MI and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
As a Insurance Risk Analyst , you will beed to coordinate insurance documentation, administrative workflows, business continuity activities, records management, team communications, and office operations. The successful candidate will exercise sound judgment, manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and provide responsive support to internal partners.
We will count on you to:
Prepare and process certificates of insurance in response to business requests.
Maintain policy and binder logs; track outstanding documents and coordinate follow-up with insurance brokers after policy expiration.
Support policy reviews by completing standard templates and accurately organizing final documents in designated repositories.
Coordinate team travel and prepare expense reports, monthly tracking worksheets, and related distributions.
Submit and monitor ServiceNow requests through completion.
Maintain team website content and other shared information resources as changes occur.
Serve as business continuity plan coordinator, maintain Fusion records, attend quarterly meetings, and support annual maintenance and testing deadlines.
Lead records and information management activities, including annual review of the document inventory and cleanup of shared-drive records to retain final work products.
Update and distribute weekly Insurance Risk Management tracking logs and record attendance for recurring activities.
Maintain the team events calendar, distribute weekly updates, and track monthly participation.
Coordinate quarterly financial presentations, including calendar invitations and conference room reservations.
Prepare proof-of-auto-insurance letters and other routine insurance documentation.
Coordinate floor-related work orders and verify completed requests.
Perform additional administrative and project support duties as assigned.
What you need to have:
Insurance knowledge or previous professional experience in the insurance industry is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience providing administrative, operational, or business support in a professional environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn enterprise systems and document-management tools.
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Demonstrated follow-through, problem-solving ability, and responsiveness to internal customers.
