Medical Data Systems, Inc. is a proven, trusted, and innovative leader in revenue cycle management. We're looking for an Insurance Recovery Specialist to join our inclusive team in Sebring. This full-time role comes with a salary of $16-$18 per hour plus a bonus.
As an Insurance Recovery Specialist, you will make primarily outbound calls to insurance companies and accept inbound calls from agents. You will act as a patient advocate to get their claim, and the hospital paid! This is a great opportunity to learn about insurance and denial management!!
To apply for this Insurance Recovery Specialist role, you will need excellent attendance and good communication skills. You must demonstrate professionalism and firmness on every single call. Additional requirements include:

  • Adaptability to change; if a hospital wants us to do something a little differently––then we do it
  • Willingness to ask questions when uncertain; we don't expect employees to be experts immediately
  • Ability to handle and control a call, knowing when to ask for a supervisor when answers to questions are not satisfactory
  • Ability to Control the Call––keep conversations on track
  • Experience in a medical office setting is helpful but certainly not required
