We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Product Manager to lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of high impact initiatives across multiple personal lines insurance products in ACE markets. In this role, you will own the insurance product performance—driving sustainable growth, profitability, and competitive differentiation while ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives. You will continuously evaluate product performance, identify opportunities for innovation and optimization, and lead initiatives that enhance pricing, underwriting, coverage design, distribution effectiveness, and customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and results-oriented leader with extensive insurance expertise and strong financial and analytical acumen. You will play a pivotal role in shaping insurance product direction, influencing cross functional partners, and leading transformation efforts that strengthen product performance and position our offerings for long-term success.
This is a high-visibility leadership role for a product professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building market-leading insurance solutions that deliver long-term value to customers and the organization.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute strategic plans for the development, enhancement, and market positioning of assigned personal lines insurance products.
Continuously monitor insurance product performance through key performance indicators such as growth, retention and combined ratio and make data-driven adjustments to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
Oversee and execute strategic projects for assigned product lines, ensuring timely delivery, cross-functional alignment, and achievement of post-implementation performance goals.
Develop innovative solutions to address market needs, enhance existing products, and introduce new opportunities.
Lead competitive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging risks across ACE markets.
Collaborate across departments partners like actuarial, underwriting, claims, and distribution teams to drive product line initiatives, monitor progress, communicate results to senior management, and adjust strategies to meet objectives.
Effectively communicate complex product strategies and performance insights to executive leadership, influencing decision-making and gaining alignment on key recommendations and strategic direction.
Collaborate with regulatory teams on filings, approvals, and compliance requirements.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, management, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance product management, product development, underwriting, claims, or related insurance disciplines.
Advanced knowledge of personal lines insurance products and markets, with proven experience managing product performance, pricing strategies, and regulatory considerations across multiple states or business units.
1–3 years of people management experience preferred, with proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex initiatives on time, within scope, and aligned to business goals.
Exceptional analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data, extract actionable insights, and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence, present, and gain alignment from executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and operational excellence.
Ability to oversee multiple markets simultaneously, managing all aspects of product performance, trends, metrics, and strategic initiatives within assigned portfolios.
