Position Summary: The Insurance Package Configuration Associate is responsible for managing and supporting revenue cycle success by following established workflows and identified best practices to create insurance packages and maintain the athenaOne insurance package library.  

The Associate serves as a leader on the team to ensure the daily coordination and execution of tasks required to achieve team goals. Your contributions help to ensure daily operations are properly prioritized, processes are functioning properly, and exceptions/escalations are accounted for, communicated & resolved in a timely manner, according to department policies, procedures, and work requirements.  As an associate, you are responsible for ensuring team metrics and collaborating cross functionally across the stakeholder network and our customers to support business goals.

Associate Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Task-Based Work 

  • Build and maintain expert subject matter knowledge of work area processes to be a resource for internal stakeholders. 

  • Work independently and prioritizes work effectively to ensure completion of assigned tasks within specified turnaround times and adhering to established goals 

  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and holds self to equally high-quality standards 

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving 

  • Independently manage and own workflows as assigned by leadership 

  • Execute solutions and processes to support positive performance results and continuous improvement initiatives 

  • Ensure workflow governance to support the timely and accurate completion of work

  • SME knowledge to support and manage complex workflows

  • Liaison for Product needs and support

  • Support monthly metric and QA reporting

  • Work with internal stakeholders and customers to gain perspective and execute on opportunities for improvement, assist with issue resolution, and promote an understanding of operations of assigned line of business 

Training & Professional Development 

  • Participate and lead training and support for team and stakeholders within assigned work area 

  • Maintain a proactive mindset to support and implement new processes and functionality for the insurance package product
