So, what’s the role?

We are seeking a talented and motivated Content Creator to join our Operations Training Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, writing, editing, and publishing engaging and high-quality content across various platforms. You will work closely with other members of the organization to create content that informs, inspires, and captivates our target audience. This includes new hire training, continuous learning, and product launch material which the departments use for e-learning modules, live in web-based training sessions, and instructor-led training guides.

A day in the life could include: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies, plans, schedules, manuals, and knowledge bases in alignment with company objectives.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, thoroughly researched, and adheres to company tone and style guidelines.
  • Manage the content publishing process, including scheduling, optimization, and promotion across various platforms.
  • Analyze the performance of content initiatives and utilize insights to inform future content strategies.
  • Maintain a detailed content calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met consistently.
  • Proficiently navigate and utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content uploading and management.

I’ve got the skills… but do I have the necessary ones?

  • Proficient in crafting effective copy, instructional text, and audio/video scripts.
  • Demonstrated experience with G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong time management abilities, consistently meeting tight deadlines.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in content development or instructional design.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience within the insurance industry.
  • Previous involvement in a call center environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Articulate, Vyond, etc.
  • Experience using JIRA or similar project management platforms.
