Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of financial and insurance products and services.
- Skill in the operation of a PC with the use of word processing and spreadsheet software, and modern office equipment.
- Excellent service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively work on the telephone to obtain insurance information.
- Ability to complete detailed paperwork and collect documents necessary to complete insurance transactions.
- Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work.
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
- Ability to analyze situations and recommend workable solutions for customers.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and follow-through on tasks.
- Ability to work weekends.
Licenses and Certifications
- Must have an active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- An active Life or Life/Health Insurance License is a plus.
