The Insurance Accountant is responsible for the preparation and review of statutory financial statements and other regulatory filings for one or more insurance companies in the group. This role supports accurate and timely reporting of financial results by compiling monthly premium and loss activity, preparing monthly journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and assisting with quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, providing foundational knowledge of journal entry preparation and financial statement analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Professional experience in an accounting or finance role via a job or internship.
