Position Overview
Provides analytical support for facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, business management techniques, and organizational development. Key responsibility includes: provides the business/financial/management/analyst focused on the coordination, accounting, planning and administration functions. Provides business management functions such as budgeting, financial analysis and planning and control of funding and allocation of funding. This role is contingent upon task order award.
Role and Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing specific TSA related documentation
- Must be able to teach and train others by delivering informative presentations
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Highly proficient with PowerPoint
- Must have hands on knowledge of WebEx, Skype, Teams
- Familiarity with distance learning techniques and experience delivering presentations in a virtual environment
- Self-starter, able to work independently with strong time management skills
- Willing to become an expert in multiple operational roles, specialized processes and custom IT products; and teach these roles and processes to operational workforce
- Strong writing and editing skills, and strong attention to detail
- Experience with rapid turn-around times for training development
- Basic understanding of different learning styles associated with adult education
- Experience creating basic graphics, such as charts or infographics
- Familiar with basic training lifecycle (ADDIE model or similar)
- Experienced with creating self-paced e-learning modules
Minimum Requirements
- Previous DHS or TSA experience (active DHS highly desired)
- DHS\TSA Suitability desired but must be quickly clearable
- Must have 5+ years demonstrated knowledge and experience
- Strong MS Product skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Articulate 360
- Experience with Articulate 360 is heavily preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with short deadlines
- Able to work with others
- Certification in any major training program (e.g., CPTD, ISD) preferred
- Must be willing to come on-site to the TSA HQ in Annapolis Junction 1-2 days per week
