As an Instructional Design Intern, you'll work alongside our Cybersecurity team to adapt engaging training that helps employees recognize cyber threats and stay safe online. You'll gain hands-on experience designing eLearning, creating digital content, and collaborating with professionals across the organization.
This in-person internship is based at our Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, during the 2026–2027 academic year, with the potential to continue through the summer.
We're Looking for Someone Who is:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Able to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
Bonus Points If You Have Experience with:
- Articulate Storyline or Articulate 360.
- Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other graphic design tools.
- Creating presentations, videos, or other digital learning content.
- Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools.
- Coursework or a personal interest in cybersecurity.

What You'll Do
- Help design, develop, and update training modules.
- Edit and proofread learning materials to ensure quality and consistency.
- Create graphics and promotional materials for training modules.
- Test eLearning courses to make sure they function properly and provide a great learner experience.
- Partner with other divisions to upload, organize, and maintain learning modules.
- Participate in instructional design meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning.
- Learn from experienced professionals while building a portfolio of real-world instructional design projects.
