Hastings Deering is currently recruiting for an Instore Support Representative to join our Construction Industries team. This is a permanent, fulltime opportunity based in our Archerfield office.

In this role, you will receive on-the-job training and play a key part in supporting our customers with both their sales and aftermarket needs. You will build strong relationships within your assigned territory, identify new business opportunities and provide quality leads into the Hastings Deering sales pipeline.

Using the telephone as your primary tool, you will connect with new and existing customers to help retain and grow our customer base while delivering an exceptional service experience!

 Reporting to our Instore Support Representative Supervisor, the key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with existing clients by delivering outstanding service and uncovering opportunities for cross-selling and upselling
  • Take ownership of your assigned territory, driving customer engagement, sales performance, and market share growth
  • Collaborate with the sales and aftermarket teams to develop and execute strategic territory and key account plans
  • Proactively identify new business prospects, qualify sales queries, and prepare accurate quotations
  • Provide timely, professional communication and reporting to all stakeholders
  • Liaise with suppliers, Caterpillar, and internal stakeholders to ensure end-to-end alignment

 About You:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Demonstrated success in a telephone marketing or lead generation role within the Earth-moving or similar Industry
  • Previous experience within frontline customer sales, support and marketing
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with a focus on customer service
  • Strong level of self-motivation and initiative
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Willingness to undergo rigorous and ongoing training
